Sigal joined Gemini in 2007 to provide essential human capital services to Gemini portfolio companies.
Sigal was the first VP of Human resources in the venture capital industry in Israel. She has extensive experience in helping companies to recruit CEOs and executive teams both in Israel and abroad, and to build effective management teams and HR infrastructure for start-up companies. To hasten the process of learning about new portfolio companies, Sigal takes part in Gemini's due diligence processes.
Prior to joining Gemini, Sigal was at Israel Seed Partners for 8 years, first as VP of HR, and in her last 3 years as a partner. Before that, she established and managed the Executive Search Division at Begisha Shona and turned it into one of the leading recruitment firms in Israel.
In the IDF, Sigal served as an Operations Officer in a helicopter squadron.
She has a BA in Hebrew Literature and General Studies from the Hebrew University and a Certificate in HR Management from the Open University. Sigal is also a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), a US-based global coaching school accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Sigal participated in the first Israeli Innovation Forum at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC).
Likewise, she is a member of the Israeli Board (Volunteer) at ISEF- International Education Foudation and a business mentor (volunteer) at Young Entrepreneurs Israel.
