Einat joined Gemini in 2008, and is responsible for identifying investment opportunities and guiding entrepreneurs through the due diligence process.
With a strong focus on the Software and Internet sectors, Einat also draws from her experience in R&D, Product Management and Sales to assist Gemini portfolio companies.
Prior to Gemini, Einat established a software venture in the area of online education and lead the initial business development and product management efforts.
“Having set up a new venture, while operating in bootstrap mode, has given me invaluable perspective into the challenges entrepreneurs face. It was a humbling experience that taught me a few lessons about the importance of a strong team, perseverance and a good sense of humor. I discovered that working in conditions of uncertainty requires a strong personality that can tackle the ups and downs of a startup environment, and an unusually optimistic outlook on life. I find it inspiring to engage with entrepreneurs who have the passion to start this journey and who have fully committed themselves to transforming a visionary concept into a commercial product.”
Previously, Einat was Senior Product Specialist at Shunra Software, an Israeli startup, where she managed technical sales across a wide range of customers and engagements on the west coast of the US. In this role, Einat worked closely with customers to architect suitable solutions for their needs and was involved in developing various long term strategic relationships.
“Working with customers is all about listening. It’s a frequently underestimated skill in the sales process and it has served me well.
When working on a particular engagement, it’s crucial to gain a thorough understanding of the problem at hand from the customer himself and to work together to implement a solution that is best for his environment”
Einat holds a BSc. in Computer Science and Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where she was included in the Dean’s List of Excellence.
In the IDF, Einat served as an Operations Officer, where she was involved in the strategic coordination of real time events, reaching the rank of lieutenant.
